Marketplace Seller Login

 

Built Oregon has developed an online Marketplace to support Oregon. The Marketplace will enable consumers and trade to discover and shop Oregon products by region, and featured collections - including Seller’s own dedicated Shop. Customers products are shipped directly from the sellers or when applicable, available for store pickup.

No cost to join. Built Oregon receives 10% commission, inclusive of all transaction fees, on items sold through the marketplace.

1. Cost

_ No cost for sellers to join the Built Oregon Marketplace

_ Built Oregon receives 10% commission, inclusive of transaction fees, from items sold through the marketplace

_ Built Oregon Marketplace does not receive commission on customer paid shipping rates

2. Listing Product

_ Sellers can list products individually, CSV file, or connect their existing Shopify, Woo, or Etsy online stores.

_ Sellers interested in linking their existing Shopify store to the Marketplace to manage inventory & orders send request to

marketplace@builtoregon.

_ We require a limit of 52 product listings per seller at a given time. Sellers may rotate their products. Each product listing can have

multiple variants (e.g. size or color). Admin will approve only products that meet this requirement.

_Only products with active inventory availability will be approved (e.g. out-of-stock products will not be approved for listing).

_Out of stock products will be disabled after two-weeks. Sellers can resubmit products once stock levels become available. Products

will automatically be disabled after 6 months and can be resubmitted for approval after that time.

3. Orders

_ Sellers receive Order notifications via email and notification on their Seller Dashboard

4. Shipping and Fulfillment

_ Sellers must select a default shipping method before adding product.

_ Sellers have the option to ship their product, enable store pick up, or both.

_ Sellers can enable free-shipping on all or for specific products.

_ Sellers handle all fulfillment & shipping requirements and are responsible for all shipping & handling costs.

_ Sellers have the opportunity to purchase UPS shipping labels through the Marketplace via Shipstation or provide their own Shipping

labels. All Seller specific label’s tracking number must be added to Marketplace to complete fulfillment.

_ Built Oregon Marketplace has negotiated a discount rate with UPS that can be passed on to Sellers own UPS account [Avg 33.5%

_ UPS Shipping Labels purchased through the Marketplace do enable Sellers to track and establish claims for damaged or lost

packages

5. Returns

_ Each Seller sets their own return policy, posted within their Shop Profile and can be specified by Product Listing.

_ Buyers responsible to contacting Sellers directly to coordinate Returns & Sellers responsible for all return coordination.

_ Marketplace Customer Service Policy states that consumers are responsible to pay for shipping returns.

_ Built Oregon commission is non-refundable for returned items.

6. Payout

_ Sellers paid, less the 10% commission, automatically 14 days after order delivery date.

_ Sellers paid via linked PayPal business account. Sellers must have a PayPal Business account to receive payments.

7. Product and Online Presence Management

_ Marketplace Sellers provided with their own Marketplace Dashboard to monitor & update Marketplace Shop.

8. Promotion of Marketplace

_ Sellers are encouraged to leverage the ongoing Built Oregon Marketplace Social Media Toolkit to create awareness and

consumer engagement through Seller’s own social media and email efforts.
